FeO news is a site built to provide links to news and topics that are active on the web. Not what CNN, AP, BBC, Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, or any other news source is showing, although some of their news feeds can be found here, but what other people are searching for. This gives you an up to the minute snapshot of what is 'hot' on the internet. And what better news source is there than what everyone is looking for? This will tell you exactly what is happening on the web at any given point in time.
For example: the list on the home page shows you what was searched for on google in the last HOUR. The last update for this list was around Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 5:00:00 PM. These one hundred things are the 'fast movers' of the search engine. So by watching this list you can see in an instant what is happening on the web in almost real-time. This list is dynamic and includes and incredibly diverse list, as you can see on the home page. In addition to the top 100 searches though, there is also an even more extensive list of 'related' searches... things that haven't made the list, but are still relevant to the topics at hand. So from the main list we can gather even more information and provide you with a even more extensive list of search words and phrases that are being queried at this time.
